Food Designer

A recipe app that treats cooking like software development: branches, pull requests, and versioning for finding the perfect recipe and forking variants for other people.

The Idea

Recipes behave like a git repository. You make a change, open a pull request, create a feature branch, compare versions, and iterate toward your own perfect version.

That matters because real cooking is rarely one universal recipe. One person wants more protein, another less lactose, another a milder version. Food Designer makes those variants explicit instead of scribbled in the margin.

Personal Anchor

I am currently changing my nutrition toward high-protein, low-carb food. Static recipes do not fit that work. I want my own recipe repo, versions I can compare, and forks for guests or family.
